Membership Minimum Requirements

Tax Preparers:

• Must have a valid CTEC License and/or PTIN.

NOTE: If you don’t have one yet, you must apply for one and present it within one year of the date your membership is issued.

Immigration Consultants:

• Must own an Immigration Bond, and if you work for an immigration office, this office must be the same unless it is registered lawyer at The State Bar of California.

All others:

• Must have professional credentials up to date. For example, if you do Real Estate must hold a Real Estate License.
